Front Street Taproom and Downtown Fargo's newest family-friendly game store, Game Giant, are joining forces for your gaming pleasure! Whether you're robbing the roads, working in the cities, or being a sneaky farmer, the best meeple layer in the land will come out on top with a brand new Carcassonne expansion to add to their collection! In addition, the winners of each individual game get to roll the "Gameday Dice" to score all kinds of great prizes including free beer, swag, or your chance at a trip for 4 to Oktoberfest at August Schell Brewing Company with hotel stay. The tournament is free to play and will consist of two round robin games and a final championship game, so be prepared to play 3 games of Carcassonne following the standard rules. Seats are limited to 24 players, so RSVP right away to reserve your space!

Join us for our monthly Free Board Game Tournament, where you will have the opportunity to score prizes and free beer. We also have Happy Hour Pricing and Free snacks. This month we will be playing America's favorite word game, Scrabble. Study up on your 2-letter words and come join us!

Doors open at 12pm, Registration starts at 2pm, and Gameplay starts at 2:30pm. Expect to play 2-3 games, perhaps more depending on number of participants.

For this months monthly board game tournament at Front Street Taproom, we will be playing Carcassonne, which is a tile based game for two to five players and is named after the medieval fortified city in southern France. Registration starts at 1:30 with Gameplay starting at 2. This tournament is free to play, and prizes will be awarded in proportion to the number of participants. No need to register, just show up between 1:30 and 2 to get your spot. There will also be free snacks. Here are the official rules. 

Front Street Taproom hosts a weekly game board meetup every Saturday from 2pm-6pm, with a monthly tournament on the 2nd Saturday of every month. If you have never played Carcassone before, we encourage you to come in on one of the preceding Saturdays, or earlier on the day of the tournament, and Aaron will be happy to teach you the game.
