Brothers Bertrand is an acoustic duo based out of Mayville, North Dakota. Brothers Shane and Joe Bertrand, both on vocals and guitar, have been playing music together off and on since 1992. Most notably, in the Fargo based band Dirty Moon Frank (1999-2004). With influences such as Johnny Cash, John Prine, The Meters, Bill Withers, Bob Dylan, and Jim Croce, the 'Brothers come out with an original musical mix of bluesy folk-funk tiptoeing on idiocy. Brothers Bertrand have been playing an eclectic mix of originals and cover songs in North Dakota and Minnesota since September of 2016. They've been described as uplifting, fun, and greasy, with a sound bigger than what you would expect from two acoustic guitars and two mics.
