ABOUT THE COMEDIANS
MARIANNA BARKSDALE:
Marianna Barksdale is a comedian, writer and aspiring cat lady based in Nashville, Tennessee. Originally from Florence, Alabama, Marianna is technically a Southerner but you wouldn't know it because her accent almost completely fell off during puberty. Marianna started her comedy career in New York then migrated to Nashville (to have cats!) in 2019. She performs regularly at comedy clubs all across the country including Zanies Nashville and Go Bananas Comedy Club in Cincinnati. She produces and hosts a PG13 Clean Quarterly show at Third Coast Comedy called Zen Comedy Hour in Nashville. Marianna occasionally shows up in sketch comedy for the Nashville Comedy News and is hoping to be featured on all of television channels, apps and viral video apps as soon as humanly possible.
EVAN BERKE:
Atlanta native Evan Berke is a standup comedian and producer currently residing in Nashville. He has showcased at many legendary clubs around the country including Gotham and Comic Strip in New York, The Comedy Store and Ice House in Los Angeles, Zanies in Nashville, The Punchline in Atlanta, and Jimmy Kimmel's Comedy Club in Las Vegas to name a few. Evan's deft charm and love for interviewing positioned him well to be an On-Air Reporter for TMZ from 2017-2019.
PAULA KOSIENSKI:
Paula Kosienski is native to the Fargo area, but recently moved to Nashville, TN, to further her comedy career. She has performed at numerous comedy clubs including the nationally renown Zanies, and has worked with comedians including Matthew Broussard (Tonight Show, Comedy Central). She is excited to come back to her home club and play alongside her new friends of the south!
JOHN DATOY
John Datoy is the creator and host of this special triple-feature show. The love of his life led him to Nashville, where he performs all over the city, including at Zanies Comedy Club. Before that, he was a regular performer at The Cellar – Fargo, and considers it his original home club.
