ABOUT THE COMEDIANS:

HEADLINER - ROBERT BARIL

Hailed by the Minneapolis Star Tribune as "the sharpest political commentator on the Twin Cities comedy scene", Robert Baril mines the news of the day to fuel his informed, biting style of comedy. With three albums out now (Sex and Politics, TMI, 2020) and in clubs across the country, Baril tackles all the hot button issues with his take no prisoners style. Additionally, Robert also delves into his own ever-evolving life as a step grandpa for bonus material. He was featured in the Amazon Prime documentary 'I Need You to Kill' and currently co-hosts the Writers Block podcast, a joke writing exercise with some of the biggest names in stand up right now.

He has been invited to perform in both the North Carolina Comedy Festival and Laughing Devil Comedy Festival. He has released four comedy albums, headlines regularly at Acme Comedy Company in Minneapolis, and has opened for Emo Philips, Chad Daniels, Roy Wood Jr., Fortune Feimster, Michelle Wolf, and Louie Anderson.

FEATURE - ELISE COLE

Elise Cole is an Iranian-Jewish comedian from Minnesota, and 2018-2019 co-producer of the Minneapolis based showcase, People Of Comedy. She was a 2019 semifinalist in Rick Bronson's House of Comedy contest, and opened for NPR's Ophira Eisenberg at the 10th Annual Twin Cities Jewish Humor Festival. Elise is a wife, mother, waitress, grad student, and published writer who finds humor in the challenges she faces in her day-to-day life.
