ABOUT THE COMEDIANS
BENGT WASHBURN:
Bengt Washburn has been doing standup for longer than he wants to tell anyone. He won the San Francisco International Comedy Competition way back in 2001.
Bengt can be heard on XM radio, and has been a guest on Bob and Tom, NPR and other places. He has made appearances on Craig Fergusen and Conan O’Brien. He also did 5 minutes on Comedy Central. He has a few comedy CDs and a couple of DryBar Comedy Specials which have millions of views. He has also two self produced comedy specials. Most people who sit down and listen to him find him to be very very funny. Yes, we wrote very twice. He is that good.
TIM SLAGLE:
Tim was born in Detroit and moved to the Windy City in the mid 1980s and has lived there ever since. He is a Chicago stand up icon and one of the most respected comedians in the Midwest. His act is insightful, intelligent, and ingenious. His observations are ironic, logical, and delectably sarcastic. He is clean but not tame, and not for the overly sensitive.
His credits include Showtime, the MTV “Half Hour Comedy Hour” and “Red Eye” on Fox News. He made an appearance in the documentary, “Michael Moore Hates America”. His musings have been heard on the syndicated “Bob and Tom Radio Show” and across the airways nationwide. His comedy bits are played regularly on SiriusXM and his cd, “Europa” was a critical and commercial success. He competed in the San Francisco Comedy Competition and performed at the Chicago Comedy Festival. He hosts two different podcasts, “Rule of Three” and “Another Day Above Ground”. He has played theaters, opened for world famous bands and performed with more comedy legends than could be mentioned here.
Tickets are nonrefundable.
