The artist formerly known as Hannah Jean Westerholm is returning home to perform for a night; jam packed with new material.
Hannah began writing her own songs as early as 12. She spent her high school years practicing piano and singing extensively in vocal competitions and performances with Fargo Souths “Bella Orso Voci” choir.
She started out as a musician 7 years ago doing vocals and percussion in local band “ Shape Than Shift” at the young age of 15. Singing vocals along side much more seasoned performers she says taught her a tremendous amount about the business.
About a year later she began performing her own soulful ballads and recording an EP before heading East to the big city.
She is a past recipient and prestigious main stage performer in Fargo’s Celebration of Women and Music.
Hannah has been living in Minneapolis for 2 years now playing music in downtown and the West Bank with favorite spots being Honey and the Acadia.
She now goes by Hannah Wolf and has been writing edgier songs with a bluesy vibe and performing them on her Fender and Little Martin, although occassionally she will play old fan favorites on the keys. Her EP single, “Neverland” has received airplay on Minneapolis FM radio station “The Current” and can be heard on Spotify and ITunes. She is currently in the process of recording her new material.
